Queen Elizabeth Class, commanding the seas with strength and might. The largest versatile flagship and leader of all our fleets protects and defends our national interests. Varivane Industries is proud to have supported the Aircraft Carrier Alliance (ACA) with the manufacture of accommodation furniture, security furniture, ammunition lockers and soft furnishings. We continue to offer full supportability with design and manufacturing activities to ensure the comfort and safety of our armed forces.
Varivane fabricated custom steel bunks, cupboards and wardrobes for both ships as part of our contract with BAE Systems. Working in partnership with the customer, Varivane aimed to provide a safe, comfortable and efficient living environment for the crews aboard the Queen Elizabeth and the Prince of Wales Aircraft Carriers.

Crafted in zintec steel, the QEC bunk system is designed to improve habitability from previous legacy vessels
With a ship's compliment of up to 1600, Varivane manufactured multiple variants of seating arrangements, including air crew briefing chairs and wet gear drying racks
Varivane produces and supplies tables, chairs, and seating for dining and recreational areas on ships, meeting high fire safety standards whilst guaranteeing the comfort of the crew
Varivane specialises in creating and producing security cabinets equipped with different types of locking systems (KABA - MKVIII manifoil - ILS scroll lock). The entire range was delivered to both vessels in the QE class
As part of our extensive solution package, Varivane provides multiple variants of storage lockers. These range from modular cabin furniture to specialist equipment lockers, and from first aid storage to fire fighting lockers. All supplied in to the QEC carriers
With the Queen Elizabeth Class Carriers capable of accommodating up to 1600 personnel, accommodation spaces were designed to maximise comfort while taking in to account efficiency and spatial constraints.
Varivane are proud to have provided a myriad of equipment to these vessels and as we move through their lifecycle, offer full through life support and technical assistance to the prime contractors and Ministry of Defence.
